Support the evaluation of intermodal facilities for Wisconsin that could enhance freight rail service for Wisconsin shippers. 5. Support public private partnerships to advance emerging technologies through the use of existing infrastructure or deployment of new infrastructure. 6. Support the City of Waukesha in the implementation of borrowing and returning water from Lake Michigan. GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY 1. Advance efforts to promote government efficiencies between various agencies at the state, county and municipal levels. 2. Support the continued advancement of municipal service consolidation among Waukesha County communities. 3. Advocate to remove state and federal barriers that prevent schools from being flexible and responsive in meeting the changing needs of area employers. 4. Advocate for greater government transparency. I think we can all agree that in 2020, we spent a significant amount of time on the defense, responding to events of the day and situations that were thrown our way. Let this policy agenda serve as a return to the fundamentals that served us so well in the past. It is time to go on offense and blaze a path of pro-business and economic growth for years to come.
