In September 2021, Generac opened a new 75,000 square-foot customer care office in Pewaukee along I-94. Outgrowing a corporate headquarters on Highway 59 in Waukesha didn’t happen without decades of solid industry leadership. When the moment arrived, Generac took the opportunity to move key sales and customer support groups and portions of the marketing team to a new facility on the other side of Waukesha County to allow for further growth and innovation at its headquarters, where the company has added to research and development capabilities that will continue to grow the business. By investing in office renovation as well as innovation, Generac has added local employee talent while continuing to expand and serve customers, partners and people. Of course, nothing great happens without exemplary teamwork, and theWisconsin Economic Development Corporation and theWaukesha County Executive’s office have been critical partners in helping accelerate Generac’s growth. Additionally, the Milwaukee 7 regional economic development organization and theWaukesha County Center for Growth were pivotal in assisting the company's Pewaukee expansion efforts. In recent years, Generac has sustained healthy business growth against the backdrop of several megatrends.
