LOOKING BACK | MOVING FORWARD As I reflect back on the anniversary of our state's shutdown, what stands out most is the speed of change, the ability of our organization to adapt and the collaborative spirit of our business community. When the COVID-19 crisis struck, no one could predict what the future would hold. I look back on this past year with so much gratitude for the hard work of our staff, the steady guidance and support of our board, and the resiliency of our business community. The partnerships the Alliance facilitates between business, education, government, and nonprofit leaders are a unique asset that I believe will give Waukesha County a competitive edge as we move into rebuilding and recovery. While we understand that businesses continue to face many unknowns, the Alliance will be here to support the business community as we have for more than a century.
