The City also owes its success to all the businesses and residents that have chosen to call Waukesha home. It is their work that makes the Waukesha not just a great city, but a great community. It is a community that I am so proud to be a part of. I know that as we all work together, the brightest days are ahead. I look forward to working with each of you as we continue to lead the City of Waukesha forward. As we go through the remaining months of 2021, we hope that each of you takes the time to celebrate our 125th Anniversary with us! The anniversary celebrations include monthly events which are featured on our website ( www.waukesha-wi.gov) . Some upcoming events include Waukesha Unlocked on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 & 10, during which the doors to many city buildings, businesses and restaurants will be unlocked and available for tours. Highlights will include the city’s architecture, community, history, and operations. A full schedule of sites and tours will be available on our website September 1. In addition, we will be holding a 125th Anniversary Gala on Friday, November 12 at the Historic Courthouse 1893 in Waukesha. It’s sure to be a great night of dinner, drinks, dueling pianos, history, dancing and more. You won’t want to miss it!
