Shore Power Adapters

The Marinco

®

Shore Power Adapters give you more power hook-up flexibility and resolve a variety of dockside power center / boat

side inlet power incompatibility problems.

Types of Adapters

“Y” Adapters

let you split one dock side

receptacle between two boat inlets of

similar or dissimilar power

configurations. “Y” adapters are fully

molded and equipped with Marinco’s

unique sealing collar and covers (where

indicated) for use in wet locations.

The Reverse “Y” Adapter

(Item #

RY504-2-30) The reverse “Y” provides

50A 125/250V power when only two 30A

125V receptacles are available.

*Available with standard locking rings or

with the new EEL quick locking system

Straight Adapters

are high-quality,

one-piece adapters similar in usage to

Pigtail Adapters. However, they do not

have sealing collars and are not

recommended for use in wet locations.

Use only in an enclosed, dry location,

such as powering your boat from a 15A

power receptacle inside your house.

Pigtail Adapters

allow you to connect

from one dockside receptacle (or other

power source receptacle) to one

boatside inlet or equipment of dissimilar

power configuration. These adapters are

fully molded and equipped with

Marinco

®

’s unique sealing collar (where

indicated) and covers for use in wet

locations.

*Available with standard locking rings or

with the new EEL quick locking system

Pay special attention

to the differences in

the 50A 125V and the

50A 125/250V.The

blades look similar,

but they are different.

The plugs and

receptacles for these

systems are NOT

interchangeable!!

Check the blade

orientation of the

various inlets

pictured and

compare to your

IMPORTANT 50 AMP INFORMATION:

If you are connecting to 50A dockside power

service, it is CRITICAL to know the dockside

receptacle’s voltage rating (50A 125V or 50A

125/250V). An adapter designed for 50A 125V

will not plug into a dockside receptacle rated

for 50A 125/250V service, and vice versa.
